フィリピン退職庁（PRA）は国有、政府が管理する法人です。行政命令1037号に従って設立されました。1985年7月4日に当時の大統領フェルディナンド・E・マルコスが署名しました。2001年8月31日に行政命令26号に従ってPRAの管理は大統領のから投資委員会（BOI）に移管しました。
PRAは外貨準備高に貢献するフィリピンの社会経済開発を促進することという最終的目的によってフィリピンで退職後、投資・滞在するように投資外国人と以前フィリピン人を招いて、彼らに魅力的なパッケージで最も良い生活の質を提供するために命じられました。
